I’m Watching You, Dad

A powerful video that is a fit for Father’s Day, and also one that ties into my sermon prep for Sunday, Genesis 22 – the story of Abraham’s sacrifice of his son, his only son, the son he loves – Isaac.

Watch and be challenged.

  1. “I’m watching how you treat people.”
Just this afternoon, one of my daughters asked if she could stay home while we went to the grocery store. She said: Sometimes, you’re not nice to the people who work there.
I cried. How humbling! Then I called her back to me and said: You’re exactly right. Without Jesus, there is no good in me. I’m not nice. I’m not kind. I need Jesus to be nice through me. He is the only good in me.
