  1. Hi James,

I wanted to send you a quick note of thanks. We attended the home school conference in Hamilton earlier this year and I had the pleasure of hearing your session on family worship. I wanted you know that you were a real encouragement for me to begin to have family worship time. After the conference we began to have family worship and continue to this day. It has now become a regular part of our day and is something that we make a priority to do. We have been blessed by this time together as a family.

When we from time to time are not able to have family worship we miss it and so do our children. I pray that God will continue to bless you and your family. Thank you for the inspiration and leadership that you are showing to other home school families.

    In Christ,

  2. Recently we had the privilige to bring the McDonald’s to speak at our monthly parent meeting for our homeschool group. We were so blessed by what each of them shared from their hearts with our parents.

Personally I was able to go away from that night encouraged and challenged to keep my focus on the reason we are homeschooling. To be honest, I felt they were both speaking directly to me and the questions I have had. It was refreshing to be encouraged to just take time with the kids and enjoy learning together.

I had the chance to speak with other members of our group and each of them left feeling uplifted and enlightened. And the most frequent comment was ” I think he knew what I was thinking” or ” They were reading my mind.”

Stacy challenged us to keep our hearts true to the calling God has given us as mothers and to never let anyone dimish the potential in it. One thing that struck me was the comment she made on reaching the future generations through service to God, my husband and our children as I step up to this place of honor. It gave me such a sense of hope and peace to look through kingdom eyes at the blessed role of a mom. I will never ever say again.. I am Just a mom. :)

Thank you so much for sharing of your hearts and your time with our families. May God’s favor rest upon you and enrich you abundantly as you have blessed us.

    In Christ,
    Tom and Dawn Boyer
    Ridott, Il.

  3. We are interested in having you all come to El Paso, TX, and share with us during our Homeschooling on the Border Conference. We have your keynote and workshop topics. Would you please send us the other details of what you require for speaking engagements. We’re a long ways away now that you’ve moved (we were before anyway)! You can send this information via the e-mail address listed.

  4. Are you coming to Alabama this year?

  5. Hi Anne,

Sadly, not this year. We look forward to our next visit, however!

    Blessings,

  6. We are interested in working with you on a weekend retreat in the Northeast PA area. I am wondering if you are also interested?

    Thank You,
    Melissa

  8. Hi Pastor McDonald!
I was hoping to download your bible reading plan and family library suggestions in the resource section, but my computer is saying ‘error’ or ‘broken link’. Maybe it’s just my computer, but would you mind checking them? Thanks!
    Sincerely,
    Lisa Winton

  9. Hi Lisa,

Thanks for stopping by. The links are working again. We just did a redesign of our church website – http://www.providencepeoria.org. As a result, we modified things a bit.

I pray these resources are a blessing!

  10. Hi Rev. McDonald,
You spoke recently at the ICHE Convention in Naperville, IL. You commented on the 127 questions you give to young men who express an interest in one of your daughters. Would you make those questions available?

  11. Thank you for your time, Pastor. We are a family living in the south with a possible upcoming move to southern california. Do you happen to know of any reformed churches in that area? More specifically in the area north of Los Angeles?

Thanks, again. Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Blessings!
