Again, another hurricane is churning in the Gulf. This one is heading for Texas. Last month, we joined together to pray for God’s mercy as Hurricane Gustav took aim at Louisiana. As we prayed, God turned the storm a bit west and sheered the power. Gustav came ashore in the Louisiana swamps, limiting damage.

Let’s pray the Lord would be as gracious to Texas. Right now, Ike is heading toward Houston. Please join with me in prayer that the storm will be turned toward more toward uninhabited areas and that it will also subside.
