Now here is a worship song!
Reminds me of a few churches from my past. When Stacy and I left the charismatic church years ago, one concerned friend asked me, “But what are you going to do about worship?” His focus on worship was what he got out of it.
Worship is more than emotion. It is more than hype. It is coming to the Lord in spirit and truth and worshiping Him as He demands. It includes teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs (Col 3:16).
And it has nothing to do with me.
May the Lord richly bless you as you seek to worship the King tomorrow.
Thank you for that. That was priceless.

Oh, I just love Beaker! I think I will start singing this when my children are focusing on themselves… hm, maybe I should let them watch it so they can sing it to me?
On a serious note, one of the things we love most about the Reformed faith is its emphasis on GOD in worship.

Hello Mr. MacDonald,
I was very interested to hear that you and your wife came out of the charismatic church. My parents both had a charismatic background and many of our family members are still in those churches. Would you consider telling your own story of how God brought you out of all that on your blog sometime soon? Thanks so much! May God bless you.
