Especially given the proof of who they are and what the represent. Consider these quotes…
“We are not going to be an organization promoting celibacy or chastity.”
Faye Wattleton, President, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Los Angeles Times, Oct. 17, 1986
_______
“If your parents are stupid enough to deny you access to birth control, and you are under 18, you can get it on your own. Call Planned Parenthood.”
Planned Parenthood advertisement, Dallas Observer, Jan. 30, 1986
_______
“There are only 2 basic kinds of sex: sex with victims and sex without. Sex with victims is always wrong. Sex without is ALWAYS right.”
You’ve Changed The Combination, Rocky Mountain Planned Parenthood, Denver, Colo.
_______
“The question of whether or not to sell ourselves to men is a false one: The real question is how to sell ourselves in the way that is least destructive to ourselves and our sisters. Prostitutes don’t need our condescension. What they need is our alliance. And we need theirs.”
The New Our Bodies, Ourselves, Boston Women’s Health Collective, p 113
_______
“At Planned Parenthood you can also get birth control without the consent or knowledge of your parents. So, if you are 14, 15 or 16 and you come to Planned Parenthood, we won’t tell your parents you’ve been there. We swear we won’t tell your parents.”
Planned Parenthood employee lecturing students of Ramona High School, Riverside, Calif., April 21-22, 1986
And consider this investigative reporting piece. Their deception is appaling…
Our effort here to get the United Way to cut ties with Planned Parenthood will continue. It seems incogruous for an organization that claims to be so altruistic and noble to support one that is so destructive and deceptive. So far, our requests have fallen on deaf ears, but have received the attention of the local, state and national media. I encourage you to check out the giving practices of your local United Way, and work for the end of abortion.
I was thinking of your entry when I overheard a conversation between two young ladies (of about the ages of 15 or 16 ) while at the park with my four young children. One gal said to the other “But, what if you get pregnant?” And the reply from the other saddened me. “That’s what Planned Parenthood is for. It’s my birth control.” I want to say that I was shocked, but sadly- I wasn’t. I’ve heard similar things recently from other young girls. And when other larger corporations, such as the United Way, blanket their coverage of such atrocities, it makes me sick… and leary of other corporations. Just how much do I NOT know??? And just what are “THEY” NOT telling others?
I am so sorry that as of now, the petitions and requests of those in the Peoria area have fallen on deaf ears. I will continue praying for your work there. Be vigilant and of good courage! Thank you for the update.

My wife and I are currently attended a church that has a food pantry that is affiliated with United Way in Southeast Georgia. My question: Is United Way affiliated with Planned Parenthood in this area? Is there still funds going to the main headquarters which I believe is supporting Planned Parenthood? I have been praying that God would show me if we are in the right church. I do not want to be involved in a church that supoports Planned Parenthood in any way. Can you help me find the information I need?
