The Abortion President?

From the Christian Defense Coalition…

Senator Obama’s views on abortion would be the most radical and extremist of any President in history and are completely out of step with the opinions of mainstream America.

Some of Senator Obama’s extremist abortion views are:

  • While a state senator in Illinois, Senator Obama opposed legislation which would prevent the killing of infants that survived late-term abortions.
  • Senator Obama opposed the ban on Partial-Birth abortions which the Supreme Court found to be Constitutional.  The ban on this barbaric procedure is overwhelmingly supported by the majority of the American people.
  • He stated one of the first things he would like to do as President is sign the Freedom of Choice Act which would radically expand abortion rights.
  • Senator Obama recently said after speculating if one of his daughters became pregnant that, “…if they made a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby.”
  • Senator Obama would make Catholics and evangelicals pay for abortions through his health care plan.

Senator Obama talks about change yet he clings to tired abortion policies that the majority of Americans moved past years ago.

Lastly, watch the first ten minutes of this of Obama’s speech given July 2007 at the Planned Parenthood Convention.

And pray for America.

  1. Obama’s Planned Parenthood speech last year is scary, but now we can see that his payback politics is the same old corrupt pay-to-play that has plagued Illinois politics under recent administrations. Consider Obama’s recent funding amendment for Planned Parenthood and their abortion causing drugs in a war funding bill:

    5-22-2008
Democrats Give Discount to Planned Parenthood

Thanks to a Democrat maneuver, Planned Parenthood will receive a discount from drug manufacturers in a bill designed to fund our troops.

On Wednesday, the U.S. Senate voted on an amendment to the War Supplemental Appropriations Bill. Democrats, led by Sen. Barack Obama, had inserted language to help Planned Parenthood into the domestic-spending portion of this troop-funding bill. The Senate passed the amendment 75-22.

The provision allows for groups like Planned Parenthood and university health centers to receive discounted prices from drug manufacturers for drugs like the morning-after pill, which may cause an early abortion.

“Planned Parenthood should not be receiving any federal assistance, and certainly not in a bill that’s designed to help our troops,” said Ashley Horne, federal policy analyst for Focus on the Family Action.

Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider, received $330 million in taxpayer money last year.

  4. James,
I am blessed by your blog as I am with stacy’s. Thank you for the effort and work you do to “get the word out”. I am a bit discouraged about our upcoming presedential election. What is a Christian to do — of course there is prayer. God can do all things and I pray He will raise up godly leaders to lead our nation in this perilous time. Meanwhile, it is the first election ever where I feel I can not vote……shall I choose the lesser of two evils? It is a bit discouraging.

Keep up the good work & God bless you beautiful family,

    gloria in Missouri
