We started a new sermon series at Providence Church this past week entitled, “Studies in Malachi – Don’t be a Casual Christian.” Over the course of the next few months, we will be looking at the detrimental impact casual Christianity has on our worship, our families, our relationship with God, and our overall joyfulness as we live out the Christian life.
If you feel yourself languishing in a life of mediocrity, listen to the messages of this series. My prayer is that they will challenge and encourage you to walk a life of victory with Jesus every day.

I am really looking forward to this series! Casual Christianity has been so very detrimental to our society. I will be using your homilies and study guides with the family. Thank you for making them available for all!
Blessings,
Mrs. Kenneth Dumais

Mr. McDonald,
) I spoke to my priest about generational sin and that perhaps this was at the root of some of my familiy’s issues at present. The priest told me that there is no such thing as generational sin and he comparaed it to believing in Karma. I hate that word and all the new age ideas it refers to so I immediately told him that this is not what I meant. He said that it amounted to the same thing. Do you believe in Generational Sin? Could you tell me why Biblically (of course!
) that you do or do not believe. Thank you
I have a question that does not directly relate to this post.
I am Catholic and today in the Confessional (let’s not get into a doctinal debate about that!
Blessings,
Mrs. Laura Dumais

Hi there,
I have named the sermon series Don’t be a Casual Christian. Yesterday, I preached on how the love of God should motivate us to live for Him.
Let me know what you think!
